I am a native New Yorker. I will never give that up even though I crossed the Hudson to New Jersey in 1977. I have been a photographer since 1971 when I took a little rangefinder on a European vacation. My artistic instincts developed when I realized that the sharpness and technical 'correctness' of photography was not appealing to me; I really wasn't interested in 'reality'.
